Just some of the areas and initiatives featured on the DkIT trail include:

SDG 1 No Poverty: The Pantry, which is a vital resource for students experiencing financial strain, offering non-perishable food and basic hygiene items

SDG 7, Affordable and Clean Energy: The iconic wind turbine, which not only provides green energy and cost-saving contributions to the institute, it also plays a key role in research and teaching activities in the School of Engineering.

SDG 9, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: The Regional Development Centre, which is home to over 20 businesses as tenants and over 50 start-ups supported through innovation and entrepreneur development programmes.

SDG 14, Life Below Water: The Centre for Freshwater and Environmental Studies (CFES) is an active and vibrant research centre which is part of the School of Health and Science at DkIT.
