DkIT Film & TV Students Short Films Screening at Droichead Arts Centre

Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) are delighted to announce that short films made by students last year on Year 3 of the BA (Hons) in Film & Television Production will screen before national and international feature films in Droichead Arts Centre as part of their ongoing Film Club programme this Autumn.

The DkIT Student films will screen as follows:

Who's Next before The Beasts on 10 Oct
One Moment before Plan 75 on 17 Oct
Mousetrap before You Can Live Forever on 24 Oct

The Forgotten Griever before Lakelands on 14 Nov

 



These films are being screened as part of an ongoing collaboration between the Department of Creative Arts, Media & Music and Droichead Arts Centre following successful screenings as part of last year's Film Club programme. 

Speaking about the collaboration, Collette Farrell, Director of Droichead Arts Centre stated:

“Droichead Arts Centre are once again delighted to partner with the DKIT Film & TV Production Programme and showcase short films produced by students as part of our Autumn Film Club.  Arts and artists are at the heart of what we do, and this initiative supports emerging film makers by showcasing student films”.

 Programme Director of the BA (Hons) in Film & Television Production, Sarah McCann added;

“These screenings in Drogheda offer a great opportunity to our students to share their films with a local audience and we would like to express our gratitude to Collette for her ongoing support of our film & TV students and their work”.
