Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) has a proven and strong track record of engagement with community and industry. Students, Academics, researchers, professional services staff at DKIT and graduates find such engagement stimulating and valuable for demonstrating the impact of the Institute’s work on the wider community and as a means of influencing the Institute’s research and innovation, teaching and learning activities.

A key strategic initiative of DkIT is to build on this track record and appetite for enhanced external engagement with progressive organisations through the DkIT Corporate Partnership Programme (CPP).

Through the CPP opportunities for mutually beneficial interactions in all areas of activity will be explored including, but not limited to: industrial research, student projects, student placements, targeted Continuing Professional Development and training programmes, professional postgraduate programmes, sponsorship, recruitment, joint research funding bids, staff placement, student/staff mentoring and advisory boards.
