DkIT operates a free and confidential counselling service to students. The service is operated by two full-time counsellors who are fully trained counselling therapists.

Diversity & Access

The DkIT Access office is committed to increasing access and participation rates of students from under-represented groups. The access service coordinates the mature entry route into DkIT and also operates the DkIT Access Scholarship.



At DkIT we welcome students of all faiths and beliefs. The DkIT Chaplaincy is available to all students and provides pastoral and holistic care within the college community as well as organising a variety of events and


Disability Services & Support

Our Disability Office provides supports and advocates on behalf of any student with a physical, sensory, learning disability, or has a mental health condition that interferes with the learning process.

Mature Students

DkIT welcomes mature students, both full-time and part-time. We encourage applications from mature students (aged 23 and over). We are here to ensure your life skills and work experience are taken into account as much as your academic qualifications.
