The “block” format is designed to prevent ‘silo-style’ learning and promote both integrated and sequential skill acquisition. Accordingly, learners are continuously encouraged to: a) apply and contextualise their learning to their own unique industry/organisational setting, and b) to adopt a strategic perspective on their own management and leadership practice.
Classes take place on one evening per week (Tuesday, 3 hours) over two semesters between September and May. The on-campus sessions are supplemented with an online tutorial session (Thursday evening, 1 hour).
Throughout the programme, students are continuously encouraged to reflect on their own work practice and apply their learning. In addition to traditional lectures, the programme includes webinars, industry speakers and discussion forums.
