We welcome applications from people from every background and we try hard to make the process as straightforward as possible.

Undergraduate (CAO) Courses

All standard entry first year applicants must apply for entry through the CAO from early November – online or paper application.

Level 8 Add-On courses are a continuation from Bachelor to Honours Bachelor and these courses are linked to certain undergraduate courses in the Institute.

We offer a wide range of taught Masters courses and research opportunities that lead you to a Masters or PhD qualification.

Applying for a part-time course at DkIT couldn't be easier. To avoid disappointment early registration is recommended.

Apprenticeship Courses

We offer apprenticeships in Electrical, Motor Mechanics, Plumbing and Carpentry in conjunction with the LMETB - Louth and Meath Education and Training Board.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Applicants

You may or may not have a formal qualification however, you probably have an abundance of relevant learning from life and work that we value highly. This learning could qualify you for programme entry, advanced entry, and exemptions.
