The Beginning of Your Future

At DkIT, meeting our new students in September is one of the highlights of the academic year. We look forward to welcoming you to the campus to give you an opportunity to see the campus and get a feel for where you will be studying over the next few years. You will also get to meet your lecturers and some of your fellow students.

Check your registration email for details of when you should come and where you should go. Looking forward to meeting you!

This step highlights some of the key things you will need, calendar, timetables, maps and information on how to access Moodle and your new email account.

IT Services for Students

Your Username and Password: We will provide you with a Username and Password that can be used to access IT Facilities. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours before your User Account is active after you register. Please refer to your welcome pack for further information

Introduction to Moodle

Moodle is the Virtual Learning Environment used at DkIT. You can access all your class files and resources from your lecturer.

Wi-Fi

Your User Account will allow you to logon to the Wireless network on Campus ‘Eduroam’.

Helpdesk

The Helpdesk is an automated trouble ticket system by Computer Services that assigns technical support issues to the correct technicians/technical officers based on priority.
