We are committed to providing all of our students with as many learning opportunities as possible, both inside and outside the classroom. We have a number of learning supports designed to help you get the best possible results from your time with us.
The Student Learning and Development Centre is a warm, friendly, and supportive space for those students who wish to improve their academic and study skills. The centre provides supports to students in relation to IT, study-skills, writing, referencing and other related matter that may benefit their academic life.
Our teaching emphasises student-centred learning. We use a variety of teaching methods including lectures, tutorials, skills-labs, e-learning, practical learning and group-work to help you develop the skills required.

Located at the heart of the campus and student life, the DkIT library gives you access to a rich and diverse collection of scholarly research and learning resources, and our digital library goes even further, with access to academic databases, electronic books and journals. The library also offers training courses throughout the year to help students makes the most effective use of our resources and services.
A tutor-supported study environment available to all Computing students in DkIT. It is an open resource to students covering a wide range of computing topics such as programming, mathematics, networking, web development and much more.
Build your confidence in mathematics with this free service open to all DkIT students. The centre provides additional Mathematics support and services including 'drop-in' sessions, small group workshops on specific topics & one-on-one support sessions.
