Biography
Since joining the Regional Development Centre in DkIT, I have worked with over 400 start-up and early stage businesses, primarily on the Novation Enterprise Platform Programme (2006 - 2011) and the New Frontiers Entrepreneur Development Programme (2012 - 2017).
I set up and managed DkIT's Student Intern Programme (2007 - 2015) which encouraged business ownership and enterprise amongst the student population before these supports were mainstreamed with the introduction of entrepreneurship modules into all courses offered in the Institute.
These roles coupled with my own experience of business ownership have given me an insight into the different needs of entrepreneurs: encouragement, support, advice, mentoring and the need to be challenged.
