Ruth McKeever

Ruth received a BSc. (Hons) in Commercial Computing in 2008 from Dundalk
Institute of Technology. She is currently undertaking research as part of
an MSc, examining how the use of refactoring methods during development

Dr. Gerry Coleman (Director)

Dr. Gerry Coleman (Director)

Gerry is Director of the Software Technology Research Centre (SToRC) and is a member of the Computing and Maths Department at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT) where he specialises in teaching Software Engineering and Project Management.

Dr. Cornelia Connolly

Dr. Cornelia Connolly

Dr. Cornelia Connolly is a lecturer in the Department of Computing and Mathematics. Her research interests include software engineering, technology in education and numerical competency.

Dr. Frank Keenan

Dr. Frank Keenan

Frank lectures in Software Engineering in the Computing department at Dundalk Institute of Technology. His current research interests include requirements engineering, agile development and context analysis.

Ronan Mac Ruairí

Ronan Mac Ruairí

Ronan is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Computing and Mathematics and focuses on Enterprise Computing and distributed technologies. Prior to taking up an academic position, he worked for over ten years as a Consultant, Software Developer, Project manager and Systems Architect.

Dr. Fergal Mc Caffery

Dr. Fergal Mc Caffery

Dr Fergal Mc Caffery is a Lecturer with Dundalk Institute of Technology and a member of SToRC. He has been awarded Science Foundation Ireland funding through the Stokes Lectureship Programme to research the area of software process improvement for the medical device domain.

Dr. Kevin McDaid

Dr. Kevin McDaid

Kevin is a lecturer in Computing at Dundalk Institute of Technology. He leads research in the area of Spreadsheet Engineering in the Software Technology Research Centre.

Brian Bishop

Brian Bishop

Brian is a spreadsheet engineering researcher with the SToRC team. His research focuses on spreadsheet development and testing, and on the interaction between end-users and spreadsheet applications.

Mr Brendan Ryder

Mr Brendan Ryder

Brendan is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Computing and Mathematics. His teaching focuses on software development and distributed technologies and his research interests lie in the areas of personal information management, document engineering and e-learning.

Namgyal received his Bsc. (hons) in Commercial Computing (2007) from Dundalk Institute of Technology. He is currently undertaking research in the area of Integration of Interaction Design into Agile Methods as part of his Msc. under the guidance of Dr. Frank Keenan.

Derek received his BSc. (Hons) in Internet Technologies in 2006 from Dundalk Institute of Technology. He is currently undertaking research, as part of his PhD, in the area of Natural Language Processing, under the guidance of Dr. Kevin McDaid and Dr. Fergal Mc Caffery.

Sandra received her BSc.(Hons) in Internet Technologies in 2008 at Dundalk Institute of Technology. She is now studying for an Msc in computing by research in the area of Agile Requirements Elicitation for Internet Development under the guidance of Dr Frank Keenan

Andrea received a Diploma in Multimedia Applications Development in 2004 and went on to receive a BSc. (Hons) in Information Technology in 2005 from Waterford Institute of Technology. She worked as a Web Developer for 3 years before undertaking research as part of her MSc.

Having received his BSc.(Hons) in Commercial Computing in 2005 from Dundalk Institute of Technology, Alan is now undertaking research in the area of Test Driven Spreadsheet Engineering, under the guidance of Dr. Kevin McDaid, as part of his Msc.

Leslie Bradley

Leslie received a BSc. (Hons) in Mathematical Sciences in 2007 from Dublin City University. He is currently undertaking research as part of an MSc, examining how the use of Bayesian statistical methods can estimate the level of error in spreadsheets, under the guidance of Dr. Kevin Mc Daid.
