Students Perform in Front of a Jam-Packed Audience in Oriel Centre
24 November 2023Students from the Department of Creative Arts, Media and Music recently held a completely sold-out musical showcase in the Oriel Centre.
This event was a wonderful success, and the audience thoroughly enjoyed this lively performance. The Musical Theatre students and the DkIT choir took the lead for the first half of the event performing almost an hour of musical theatre tunes and folk music including solos, duets, and an ensemble number from Les Misérables. The second half included a delightful performance by the traditional ensemble, music from award winning student Gavin Gribben and a showcase of electronic music.
The show was a magnificent display of collaboration between Musical Theatre students, Music students and Audio Music Production students along with support from DkIT staff.
