Smooth Muscle Research Centre PhD student awarded Best Poster at FEPS2017

Congratulations to our 3rd Year PhD student Ms Viktoriia Bihun who received Best Poster Award at the Federation of European Physiological Societies meeting in Vienna Austria, last week.

Viktoriia, who is supervised by Dr Keith Thornbury in the Smooth Muscle Research Centre, won the award for her work on airways, which investigated the role of specific membrane spanning proteins called TRPC ion channels.
