Dundalk Institute of Technology Games students travel to Belgium

A group of 13 year 2 students from the BSc (Honours) in Computing will travel to Antwerp, Belgium from the 15th - 26th March



During the 11 days of the project, the DkIT students will work alongside students from Belgium, Portugal and Poland. The project that the students will work on is called;

"Citizen School: Serious Gaming for a better Europe"

The aim of the project is "to contribute to the creation of a European society, which is more inclusive and respectful of all, by educating and empowering young people and their teachers about interculturalism." To achieve the project aim, the students will form multi-disiplinary, multi-national teams that will work on the creation of immersive contextual serious games for young people.

The project is funded by the EU Erasmus+ programme (project reference: 2016-1-FR01-KA201-024157).
