First Year Event Management students recently  held their annual charity fundraising event and this year the class chose two worthy charities to raise some much needed funds for, Dundalk Dog Rescue and The Irish Cancer Society.  The students came together to deliver a fun filled event and even had a visit from 5 beautiful rescue dogs from Dundalk Dog Rescue.  

Many activities took place on the day along with a raffle and some beautiful treats were on offer at their coffee morning also. In total the students raised €1,100 and will be delighted to transfer this money to each of their chosen charities.  The group would like to thank the volunteers from Dundalk Dog Rescue who took time out to visit campus on the day of the event and bring in their lovely dogs.
