BA (Hons) in International Tourism Management and BA (Hons) in Marketing and International Tourism Management students from the Department of Hospitality Studies at DkIT recently had the opportunity to participate in an enriching Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in Tourism with ISPGAYA, Portugal and Academia de Studii Economice din București, Romania hosted by the amazing IUT de Lens, France.

Our students worked hard on ‘The City Break in France’ project, during which then had the opportunity to visit Canadian National Vimy Memorial, Carrière Wellington in Arras and had a wonderful morning at the Louvre-Lens Museum!

A sincere thank you to our educational partners, Year 2 students on both Tourism programmes, Noreen Carney in The International Office, Vicky Leahy and Helen Marie Howley for their guidance, and Dr. Kevin Burns for his support.  

It was a fantastic student learning experience.
