• The show featuring over 20 hit Queen songs will be performed at DkIT’s MacAnna Theatre on the 19 and 20 March

The final year students on the BA Musical Theatre at Dundalk Institute of Technology will present the musical WE WILL ROCK YOU School Edition based on the music of Queen at the MacAnna Theatre on the 19 and 20 March at 7pm.

Featuring more than 20 hit Queen songs including “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Killer Queen,” “We Will Rock You,” “Somebody to Love,” “We Are the Champions,” and many more, WE WILL ROCK YOU follows two young rebels as they try to restore rock ‘n’ roll to “the iPlanet” in a post-apocalyptic world.

WE WILL ROCK YOU is a musical for our time: a fist-pumping, foot-stomping anthem to individuality!

Director Will Guppy said:

The BA Musical Theatre at DkIT provides essential and comprehensive training in the three main principles of musical theatre, namely acting, singing and dancing, which are supported by academic modules which explore further understanding of the industry. WE WILL ROCK YOU features the first cohort of students to undertake this programme and the production is a fantastic collaborative effort involving DkIT’s production team and other students.
