DkIT Graduate Returns to Discuss Engineering Opportunities in Biomedical Sector

Keith Mooney, a Research and Development Engineer at BD-GenCell (Limerick) visited students of the Bachelor of Electrical & Electronic systems on Friday 24th February.  Keith is a graduate of this programme and returned to DkIT to share his experience in the biomedical devices industry.  Keith provided students with an insight into current contributions made by engineering disciplines to the biomedical sector. 

GenCell Biosystems is a developer of innovative biological testing instruments based in Limerick, Ireland. Founded in 2011, currently employs over 60 people. GenCell Biosystems was acquired by BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) on Oct 13, 2014
