DkIT Gets a 'Taste of Christmas' Thanks to Culinary Arts Students

Santa’s helpers in Hospitality have been busy!

Students and staff attended ‘A Taste of Christmas’ on Wednesday 14th December, where they experienced Barista coffee and a Christmas treats.  Culinary Arts students had the opportunity to apply entrepreneurship to their programme by creating artisan products such as Honey and Mustard Ham Glaze; Artisan Mincemeat with Irish Whiskey; Red Onion Marmalade; Christmas Pickle (Marrow and chilli); Cranberry Sauce with Port ; Duck Fat and Seasoning for Perfect Roast Potatoes; Blackcurrant, Gooseberry and Raspberry Jam and their famous College Wheaten Bread mix was sold in a Presentation Bucket.
