The Samson Films Best Short Film Award will be presented to the best short film made on the year-long Film Project module in 3rd year while the Dearbhla Walsh Best Major Project Award will be presented to the best TV drama/documentary made on the year-long Major Project module in 4^th year.

Samson Films is one of Ireland's leading independent film and television production companies. In addition to developing its own material, Samson Films also acts as a co-producer and executive producer on a wide range of Irish, European and International feature film projects. The Dearbhla Walsh award is from an award-winning Irish film and television director who has worked on drama series for several television channels worldwide. Dearbhla’s key credits include The Tudors, Shameless, Penny Dreadful, Bad Sisters, Fargo, The Handmaid's Tale, amongst many more.
