Details of IT and sound equipment available to delegates.
Every room is equipped with a PC (Windows 7/MS Office 2010) connected to the sound and projection system. Please note that CDs are played through the PC. Facilities for connecting a laptop/mp3 device are also provided along with a blueray DVD player. Anyone wishing to use a laptop/macbook etc. must provide converters to accept VGA connection to the audio/video system.
Please note there is no access to Keynote on the machines.
To ensure smooth changes between sessions we would be grateful if delegates could submit their powerpoint presentations in advance of the conference. This will allow us to check that there are no compatibility issues and have the presentations loaded on the PC in the rooms before each session begins.
Presentations should be emailed to smidkit2012@gmail.com with 'Powerpoint Submission' as the subject of the email by Wednesday 13 June 2012.
Delegates should also bring a backup of their presentation on USB on the day.
If you choose not to submit your presentation in advance, we would request that you check your presentation on the PC in the machine during the break before your session.
There will also be a piano in each of the venues for the presentations.
