Science Without Borders

DkIT welcomes students participating in the Brazilian Science without Borders programme to study abroad at the largest and most diverse university in Ireland. The DkIT International office will support you before you leave home, when you first arrive and throughout your time at the Institute. We want you to get the most out of your experience at DkIT academically, culturally and socially.

Science Without Borders is an initiative of the Brazilian Federal Government aimed at promoting Science, Technology, Innovation and Competitiveness at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, through the awarding of generous scholarship funding to study abroad.
The programme is a joint collaboration between the Ministry of Education (MEC) and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MCT) through their respective funding agencies - CAPES and CNPq.

Undergraduate students from Brazil can come to Ireland for up to one year of study at Dundalk IT. Students in the programme will return to Brazil to complete their degrees. The programme also seeks to encourage experienced researchers and lecturers to carry out teaching and research visits at Brazilian institutions.
