You will become proficient in a number of acting, movement and voice skills as well as studying the history of theatre and important key performance styles and plays.
Now based within the specialist facilties of the Carrolls building in DKIT (click here for a video of these facilities) , you will work with students from the Creative Media programmes in the creation of short films & performance projects, while also having the opportunity to mix with students from Music, Games, Multimedia & Computing in the Creative Hub of the North East. As you move into third year, you will focus on professional performance, taking part in a number of major public performances directed by working professionals, along with appearing in a showcase for invited agents.
Research practice and critical evaluation skills also form part of your overall professional development.
