Course Overview

This course will teach students the fundamentals of creating and managing an event, spanning from the beginning of planning to post-event analysis. Students will be involved in planning and organising events including working on client briefs, carrying out risk assessments, designing presentations and producing reports. Students will study and learn to deal with complex and challenging topics including revenue management, public relations, marketing, technical and production operations.

In 2nd year students undertake a semester-long industry work placement where students can gain important contacts within the industry to help them in their future careers.

Study Abroad

Students have the option to study abroad in Year 3, through the Erasmus+ Programme. Studying abroad allows you to immerse yourself in another culture while significantly improving your language skills.
