A Vision for Regional Innovation – Led by DkIT

The Showcase is a key milestone in DKIT’s strategy to drive growth and innovation in the Digital Health sector. The institute is home to several national and international initiatives that support research, innovation, and commercialisation, including:

• dConnect Digital Health Innovation Hub – supporting early-stage companies and research teams to commercialise digital health solutions
• DigiBio – Ireland’s Digital Biotech Catalys
• Connected Health & Wellbeing Cluster – an enterprise-driven cluster linking health, wellbeing, and tech companies with researchers and supports
• Regulated Software Research Centre – tackling the unique challenges of developing software in regulated environments
  Netwell CASALA – a centre of excellence for age-friendly technology and independent living research

This showcase brings together all these strengths in one place, highlighting DKIT’s role as a key player in the region’s innovation ecosystem. And while the focus is digital health, the event invites collaboration across tech, business, education, and design — recognising that the future of innovation is interdisciplinary.
