Engineering Your Future — TY Programme

DkIT School of Engineering will host an Engineering Your Future Programme 2023 from Tuesday 9th to Friday 12th May 2023. The Engineers Ireland/STEPS Engineering Your Future Programme 2023 aims to give students a hands-on, fun and practical insight into engineering at the third level and as a career.
Applications are now Open for students and teachers to apply to attend.
About the Programme
The four-day programme is open to all Transition Year students who would like to experience a broad range of engineering activities. Sessions in Civil, Electronics and Mechanical engineering will expose the participant to a team-based environment with an emphasis on interactive learning.
This year participants will build and program a model robot, learn about sustainability, survey a site/model a bridge and learn about computer-controlled manufacturing. Attendees will also learn about engineering and biomedical careers and communications in a group within a third-level environment.

Who can Apply
- Teachers or Engineers: If you're a teacher or engineer who has previously taken part in the STEPS Young Engineers Award competition, please log in to register to participate in this year’s competition. Please register for an account if you haven't participated previously.
- Current Transition Year students: If you are a student applying for the STEPS Engineering Your Future Programme please register to apply. (Note we are only accepting applications from students. Applications made by parents will be removed)
