CLASS by Iseult Golden and David Horan will be performed by final year students on the BA Theatre and Film Practice at Dundalk Institute of Technology on 1 and 3 April 2025.
CLASS is an award-winning play about learning difficulties—in school, in life, and beyond. It is a gripping, witty, and thought-provoking play about education, privilege, and power.
After a sold-out run at the Dublin Theatre Festival in 2017, the play transferred to the Abbey Theatre, Dublin, in January 2018 before being staged at the Traverse Theatre as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe later that year. CLASS won an Edinburgh Fringe First Award and was named Best Theatre Script at the 2018 ZeBBie Awards, presented by the Writers Guild of Ireland.
