Last Wednesday Baldoyle Badminton Centre hosted the finals of the 2015-16 Student Sport Ireland badminton leagues and it was Dundalk IT who secured victory as they defeated IT Tralee in a brilliant final that went all the way to the final set of the mixed doubles contest.

Last weekend (5/6 March) saw our Sports Scholarship student Ronan Brennan claim another Irish surfing title. Ronan, in his 3rd year of BA (Hons) Social Care, won the Stand Up Paddle board title at the Irish Surfing Inter-Varsities Championships.
Recently over 100 students from Balbriggan Community College visited DkIT as part a global initiative “College for Every Student”. The initiative involves targeting current 2nd year student’s, in raising their aspirations to continue to third level education.
Applications are invited for a full-time three year PhD research position in Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT), Ireland, in conjunction with the Irish Marine Institute, and the PROGNOS project. The position will commence in May 2016.
