Course Overview

This course integrates theory with practical application to equip students with real life management, communication and research skills. It provides them with a broad understanding of building technology, measurement and estimating, procurement and tendering, construction site management and law.

The first year of this course will be delivered to all Year 1 Construction Management, Building Surveying and Architectural Technology students. At the end of first year students can request to transfer to the Building Surveying or Architectural Technology course.

In 3rd year students undertake an industry work placement where they gain important contacts within the industry to help them in their future careers.

At the end of first year students can request to transfer to the Building Surveying or Construction Management course.
