This 2 year part-time honours degree programme builds on the Level 7 degree in Hospitality Management to give students an in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and prepare students for enhanced employment opportunities

This two-year part-time honours degree programme builds on the level 7 degree in Hospitality Management to give students an in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and prepare students for enhanced employment opportunities.

The programme focuses on business and management at strategic levels, where students learn to critically analyse and solve business problems, make decisions and generate long term business solutions. Graduates can expect to find employment in management positions in the world’s finest hospitality providers.

Course runs over 2 years.
Year One classes run on Mondays from 9.00am to 5.00pm (subject to change).

The programme is delivered through a mix of classroom based lectures, lab classes and online delivery. 

Career options for graduates of the BA (Hons) Hospitality Management are excellent. Those who successfully complete the programme will be highly employable in the following sectors: 

  • Hotel Senior Management  
  • Food and Beverage Management 
  • Front Office Management 
  • Sales and Marketing Management 
  • Business Owner 

Graduates of this programme can progress to study at level 9 at DkIT or elsewhere. 

Total course fee: €3,000

€1,500 per annum (Year 1 payable as follows).

Application Fee: €50 (non-refundable if you are made an offer of a place)

Accept Offer Fee: €100 (non-refundable)

Instalment 1 = €600 is payable by 31st October 2020

Instalment 2 = €750 is payable by 28th February 2021

Applicants should hold a level 7 degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent, with a GPA of 50% or above. Applicants who do not have a level 7 award but have significant experience may be assessed under the Institute’s Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) process.
