How to convert a Microsoft Works File to a Microsoft Office File. This technique should work for all versions of Microsoft Office.
- Open the relevant Microsoft Office application e.g Word
- Go to File -> Open
- Make Sure All Files is selected in the Open Window.
- Select your Microsoft Works Document (e.g..wps) from where it is saved. Double-Click or Click on Open, Microsoft Office should convert the file.
- Use the Save As option to save your file, this will allow you to save the file as a Microsoft Office File (e.g .doc), you will have two versions of your file now saved, a Microsoft Works and Office.
