When you have registered as a Student we will provide you with a Username and Password that can be used to access Facilities on Campus: NB it can take up to 24 hours before your User Account is active after you register.

As part of your Email Account you also have Access to your own Online Storage Space in One Drive. One Drive can be accessed on any device and can also be accessed off Campus so it is important to save all your College files to it so you can access them at Home. Whenever you log onto a PC on Campus your One Drive Storage will appear as the O: drive on the PC. To get started login to https://onedrive.dkit.ie . Your Account will allow you to logon to any PC located in the Computer Labs or the General Access PCs in the Library.
If you have an IT issue on Campus you can contact Computer Services in one of the following ways:

- Call to the Local Computer Services Technician in your area.
Managing your Account
We would recommend that you change your password immediately on login by hitting Ctrl-Alt-Del and select Change Password. It is advisable to change your password on a regular basis - usually 90 Days. This password change will affect access to all systems.

Software available to Students

Students can also get access to discounted Microsoft and Adobe software by going to https://dkit.onthehub.com and Signing in with their Email address.
Print/Copying services are provided by the college shop and managed by IBS/Xerox Ltd. Use your Student ID card to access print services across campus. User instructions are available at print areas. If you require assistance with these services please contact the print engineer located on first floor in the Library. Credit top-up kiosks are available beside print machines in Library, Muirhevna and Carroll building.
