Research in the Centre falls under three thematic areas: Lake and Catchment Management, Water Development and Communities, and Agri-environmental Management. The themes build on the expertise within the CFES on biota on nutrient dynamics in freshwater systems, use of high frequency monitoring in lakes and catchment, dynamic modelling and data analytics, sustainable use of organic resources, and water governance at national and community level.
