The corporate logo for Dundalk Institute of Technology should be used on all official documents, reports and communications and may be used in conjunction with the Undergraduate, Part-Time and Postgraduate logos where necessary.
The corporate logo is comprised of:
- The name of the institute is marked in both English and Irish. The classic typography (Trajan Pro) exudes a timeless and historic quality.
- The Mythical Martlet is depicted as a stylised bird with short tufts of feathers in place of legs. The inability of the martlet to land on its feet symbolises a constant quest for knowledge and learning. The martlet features on the coat of arms of Dundalk, Ireland.
This is the official primary DkIT logo to be used on all brand materials in the Republic of Ireland. It can be combined with our Corporate Logo on material where the #DkIT brand may not yet be recognisable.
This logo has been developed to represent the spirit of the DkIT identity, and appeal to our target audience. The logo is simple, yet effective, contemporary and clear, and reflects the brand characteristics: youthful, friendly and innovative. To ensure our logo is recognisable, do not go any smaller than 20mm wide.
